Progress in mind mapping

Hello all,
Working solo on a project like this requires a lot of organizational skills which I'm not very well known for, so I use XMind to track of my assets and progress, and keep an eye on the bigger picture. I highly recommend it if you're working on a similar project. Here's my bigger picture so far.

Animation Clean up

The open screening night went very well. The audience (which was mostly other film makers) were following the story-line closely, and the ending raised a lot of questions and discussions afterwards which was real comforting and satisfying to me. I think I will plan another showing (for non film makers) in a later phase when all animatic parts are turned into rough animation and all backgrounds are ready and implemented.

Another Background done.

I noticed that I've been noodling the backgrounds way too much, especially when I took a step back and looked at the bigger picture, and that is to finish the short before I run out of juice. Here's my latest work.

That I learned 3

"Do things the hard way"
No puns here, there's a merit to doing things the longer harder way versus the easy "smart" way.

Finally it's here with all its glory. Production video #3 was long enough that I decided to split it into two segments, the first one addresses Christina's thinking process and her approach to color, and in the second half she'll demo her painting process, I hope you all like it.
